Like something from a science fiction movie, Volvo and Microsoft have teamed up together to create a wearable, voice-enabled control system for your car that will take Volvo vehicles to an impressive new level of connectivity. 3Birds Template is excited to share details of this innovative new feature with you!
Coming later this year, Volvo owners will be able to talk directly to their car to pull up directions; turn on the heat and air conditioning; lock and unlock the doors; flash the lights; and even sound the horn. This system, which enables users to remotely control the vehicle via voice controls, has been named Microsoft Band 2, and it promises to revolutionize the automotive industry. This wearable wrist device assures that it will make your drive safer, easier, and just plain fun for you and your family.
Last year, Volvo and Microsoft publicized their joint venture into automotive technologies with the release of the HoloLens, the first stand-alone holographic computer. In recent years, Volvo has concentrated on non-traditional vehicle technologies and innovations, with plans to continue to seek out partnerships with companies that will further push the limit.
