All of us at 3Birds Template enjoy sitting at the wheel in the luxurious cabin of a Cadillac, but what about those who don’t get a front-row view? In the 2016 Cadillac CT6, engineers have found a way to provide greater in-car connectivity for family or friends who relax in your back seat.

HDMI and USB ports are now located on the front of the rear center seat as well as in the rear seat center armrest. Two 10-inch high-definition adjustable screens are integrated seamlessly in the cabin and will retract into the back of the front seats when not being used. Passengers can stream from their phones, play a Blu-ray DVD, view media information, and even see what’s on the front CUE screen. In the Platinum model, these screens can be used to adjust the rear massage functionality.

Passengers will love the built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity that allows them to use Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV Stick, or Apple TV to stream popular sites such as Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube.

This rear seat infotainment system comes standard with the Platinum trim and is available with the Rear Seat Package for Luxury and Premium Luxury models.

All models come equipped with OnStar 4G LTE with a Wi-Fi hotspot that can connect up to seven devices. When you turn the vehicle on, OnStar 4G LTE connectivity turns on, providing stronger coverage for your phone and making it easy to stay connected.

Drivers, don't worry - front seat passengers haven’t been left out. The 10.2-inch CUE screen will play media from a USB or Blu-ray DVD when parked, and both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are available. No matter what devices are in your car, everyone can get in on the fun. Simpler access to smartphone functions makes it easier for you to navigate, select contacts, send a hands-free text message, or access select applications.

Cadillac has always been a leader in luxury and technology, and this latest advancement proves to be no exception. Call, contact us online, or come see us at 505 W. Franklin St., Chapel Hill, NC 27516 to schedule a test drive.
