MINI TAKES THE STATES is back—well, almost.

Next year, the cross-country MINI owners’ rally will return for a two-week run between July 9, 2016 and July 23, 2016. MINI is keeping the details of the route secret—for now. But if the last event is any indication, it’s sure to be epic.

MINI TAKES THE STATES 2014 drew almost 4,000 MINI owners from around the world for a cross-country trek from San Francisco to Boston’s Back Bay. The route covered 15 cities and 18 states in 14 days, and helped support Best Friends Animal Society. The 2016 event will also benefit a yet-to-be-named charity partner.

“MINI TAKES THE STATES 2014 was such an amazing experience that we couldn’t wait to announce the dates for 2016,” said David Duncan, Vice President MINI of the Americas. “I also personally wanted the community to know that I am standing by the promise I made in Boston at the end of our last adventure together.  We will motor again in 2016!”
