3Birds Template is excited to announce that Mazda has recently been praised by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for being the most fuel-efficient automobile manufacturer in the United States. This makes for the third consecutive year that Mazda has been the most fuel-efficient brand, with a fleet average of 29.4 miles per gallon and a CO2 emissions score of 328.

Mazda attributes its success not to hybrid or electric vehicles but to its SKYACTIV Technology. This innovative technology maximizes drivetrain efficiency and reduces vehicle weight in order to produce a vehicle that is safer and more efficient while still maintaining that “zoom zoom” that Mazda is known for. This drive has led Mazda to also be named 2016 Best Car Brand by U.S News and World Report, as well as many other accolades.

Mazda utilizes its SKYACTIV Technology in all of its vehicle models including the popular Mazda3, Mazda6, and even the new Mazda MX-5 Miata and Mazda CX-3 models. The new 2016 Mazda CX-3 crossover vehicle is leading the crossover category with an estimated 29 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway.* New for 2016 is the arrival of the Mazda CX-9, which will be powered by a 2.5-liter SKYACTIV, direct injection turbo engine. The Mazda CX-9 was built to combine performance and economy into a midsize SUV.
