What is "quiet luxury"? For Lincoln, it's the driving focus behind every new vehicle -- and the all-new Navigator Concept is the most fully realized vision of this ideal to date.
"The all-new Navigator Concept reinforces our commitment to give every Lincoln client what we call quiet luxury – vehicles and experiences that are elegant, effortlessly powerful and serene," said Kumar Galhotra, president of Lincoln. "This kind of quiet luxury sets Lincoln apart. Now, we're showing fans of large SUVs how we can exceed their expectations, without being the loudest statement on the road."
To create something that felt different from the competition, Lincoln took inspiration from some unlikely places, including luxury sailboats and yachts. Their influence is evident in the Navigator Concept's clean lines, Storm Blue exterior paint, and teak finishes.
The Navigator Concept is outfitted with the latest technology and engineering to support its driver-first focus, including a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 delivering more than 400 horsepower. Drivers can customize ride, handling, and overall driving experience by choosing between several drive modes, reflected in a digital animation in the Navigator Concept's cluster.
The interior of the Navigator Concept emphasizes spaciousness and comfort. The light-blue leather wrapped interior conveys a calming atmosphere, one that's furthered by Lincoln's Perfect Position Seats with 30-way adjustment. Other interior amenities include a custom wardrobe management system and a specially designed Lincoln Revel audio system.
Safety is also a highlight thanks to features such as Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, which uses radar and camera technology to scan the road ahead. This technology can warn the driver in the case of an upcoming collision and (if the driver does not respond) automatically apply up to full braking force. The Navigator Concept is also equipped with a 360-degree camera, enhanced park assist, and lane-keeping system for additional peace of mind.
The Navigator Concept offers an exciting look at what could be--not only for the future of the Navigator, but for the future of luxury itself. See how Lincoln is working toward that goal today by visiting 3Birds Template.
