At 3Birds Template, there’s no question that we’re excited about the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. Not only will a dazzling variety of vehicles be on display, but we’ll also get a first look at Nissan’s new Nissan Z. We’ve seen the teaser image, of course, but that’s not quite the same thing as the real thing. That’s why we were pleased to learn that the concept car will be present at this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show, and that the production model will go on sale in 2017. Here’s what else we know about this sporty vehicle.
Firstly, Nissan’s current 370Z will be phased out by 2017. Secondly, although Nissan was considering replacing it with a smaller coupe (as the automaker demonstrated with the concept car it showed off at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show), word has it that the new Z will be a crossover. This would be a change in strategy for Nissan, but it seems that that’s what they’re going for, as indicated by what Nissan Design Chief Shiro Nakamura told Australian media: “We need to take another path. I feel Z needs more revolution than evolution.”
Although the Nissan Z won’t be available until 2017, you can always stop by the dealership and check out the Nissan models we do have in stock. And if you’re interested in the Nissan 370Z, be sure to take one for a spin before they’re no longer available. Contact us today to schedule a test drive.
