When it comes to continuously setting the bar higher for performance, nobody does it like Jaguar. The latest demonstration came at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, which you might recall as the site of driver Terry Grant’s record-breaking loop-the-loop last year. Both driver and car returned this year to once again thrill crowds with an awe-inspiring two-wheeled drive up the Goodwood hill.

The display offered yet another indication of the F-PACE and its powerful capability, along with Grant’s driving prowess. The stunt-driving legend wasn’t the only one onboard during the demonstration, though. Professional freestyle motorbike stunt rider Lee Bowers also joined, climbing out of the passenger window to stand on the side of the Jaguar and salute the crowd during the high point of the proceedings.

The momentous achievement followed countless hours of planning. The team completed its final preparations at the Santa Pod raceway in Northamptonshire just days before the event.

“When Jaguar gave me the opportunity to reunite with the F-PACE used to break the world’s largest loop record, I couldn’t say no,” said Grant. “Its light, stiff aluminium body and precise controls make it the perfect wheelie vehicle, and it was great to have Lee Bowers along for company – even if he did climb out halfway through our run!”

The two-wheeled drive further adds to the appeal of the manufacturer's first performance crossover. With over 14,000 orders placed within its first 10 months of availability, the F-PACE is the fastest-selling vehicle in the Jaguar lineup and the only aluminum-intensive design in its class.
