Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations developed the F-TYPE SVR to be lighter, faster, stronger, and more powerful than any other F-TYPE ever made, and honestly, who doesn't want a supercar that can reach top speeds of 200 mph? The SVR achieves such blistering speeds through incredible power, lightweight materials, and quality aerodynamics.

In terms of power, the F-TYPE SVR sports a supercharged 5.0-L V8 engine capable of delivering 582 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Material-wise, the SVR is 55 lbs lighter than the F-TYPE R AWD, thanks to its carbon ceramic matrix brake system, titanium and Inconel exhaust system, lightweight wheels and more. Opt for the CCM brake system, carbon fiber roof panel, and carbon fiber pack, and you can save up to another 55 lbs.

As far as aerodynamics are concerned, the F-TYPE SVR has been tweaked to help reduce its wind profile as much as possible. Everything from the shape of its front bumper to its under-floor tray to its deployable rear wing is vital to its aerodynamics. According to Ian Callum, Jaguar's Director of Design, "Cutting-edge aerodynamics have always been fundamental to Jaguar design, and everything from the enlarged air intakes to the active rear wing is essential to the new F-TYPE SVR's dramatic looks and 200mph potential."
