
Many luxury automakers claim that their models are the most stylish, but few can actually back their claim up like Jaguar can. That's because the venerated British automaker was awarded with the 2016 Kelley Blue Book Image Award for “Best Car Styling Brand” at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
The award for “Best Car Styling Brand” from Kelley Blue Book is the second time Jaguar has received this honor, having also won in 2014.
The Kelley Blue Book Image Awards recognize automaker’s achievements in creating, promoting, and maintaining brand attributes that resonate with new vehicle shoppers. Awards are calculated across a number of categories, including luxury, non-luxury, and truck shoppers.
Winners are determined based on data collected from Kelley Blue Book’s Strategic Insights’ Brad Watch study, which offers insight into how shoppers perceive important factors that influence their purchase decisions, along with other data such as brand familiarity/loyalty among new-car shoppers.
Both the Jaguar F-TYPE and XF luxury sedan played an important role in winning this award, with each model representing the brand’s unwavering commitment to striking design and timeless elegance. While other automakers focus exclusively on performance (BMW) or style (Audi), Jaguar has always successfully applied both disciplines to its vehicles.
We may not be able to tell the future, but the planned expansion of the Jaguar lineup is sure to bring even more awards. Joining the F-TYPE and XF are the XE compact sports sedan and F-PACE (Jaguar’s first-ever crossover SUV), the latter of which has already created tremendous buzz.
Needless to say the future looks bright for Jaguar and Jaguar owners.
