Audi is welcoming a new model to its lineup. The 2016 A8 L 4.0T Sport model is a variant of the Audi A8 flagship sedan, and boasts enhanced levels of luxury and a 4.0T twin turbo V8 engine that delivers 450 horsepower, which is an increase of 15 hp from the previous 4.0T model.

The Sport model also features an enhanced and more muscular front fascia, with larger air intakes that lend it a more commanding and imposing presence on the road. The bumper of the A8 L 4.0T has been lowered for a more performance-oriented look, while the sides receive more prominent rocker panels that give it a wider stance.

At the rear, the lower bumper has been reshaped for a more dynamic appearance. The A8 L 4.0T Sport comes standard with 20-inch 5-double spoke weeks. Two addition 20-inch options are available, as are available 21-inch 5-arm wheels with summer tires.

It’s evident a great deal of care was paid to the 2016 A8 L 4.0T Sport’s exterior, but it’s worth noting that the interior is just as impressive. The interior has been designed for ultimate comfort. The standard Executive and Luxury packages offer 22-way Comfort front seats with Valcona leather—complete with sporty diamond pattern stitching.

Adding to the interior’s allure are front seats that include ventilation and massage functions. Also standard is Alcantara headliner, panoramic sunroof, and acousting glazing on the windows.  

As with any Audi, drivers can expect an advanced level of technologies and assistance functions. The A8 L 4.0T Sport does not disappoint in this regard, and features Audi side assist with pre sense rear, Audi head-up display, and available Audi adaptive cruise control with stop & go.
