Infiniti finally drew back the curtain and revealed the all-new Q30 at last month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Q30 is an active compact that delivers a dynamic driving experience unique to Infiniti. It’s the brand’s first compact car, and naturally it has all of us at 3Birds Template excited.

Development for the Q30 started at Infiniti’s technical center in Japan, before moving to Europe for final testing. In total, over 750 Infiniti engineers in Japan and Europe were involved in the car's development.

When it arrives, the Q30 will be powered by a variety of engines. Base models will receive a 1.6-liter gasoline engine that generates 120 horsepower or 154 horsepower. The Q30 will also be available with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that creates 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Transmission options consist of a six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The Infiniti Q30 will be available in three trims: Base, Premium, and Sport. Infiniti has yet to discuss what content we’ll see on Base models, but Sport trims will come with unique 18-inch wheels, LED fog lamps, heated door mirrors, and twin chrome exhausts. Meanwhile, Sport trims get a lowered ride height, 19-inch alloy wheels, and much more.

In terms of design, the Q30 makes a real visual statement. It defies categorization by virtue of its rare shape and elevated stance. It features a highly distinctive, coupe-like silhouette that is sure to turn heads, while its shallow glass area further amplifies its rakish design.

In addition to a captivating, large mesh grille, the Q30 features concept-car styling throughout, and retains much of the of design cues from the original 2013 concept.

The Q30 is an impressive vehicle, and one that we believe will usher in a new era for the Infiniti brand. Its aggressive styling coupled with your choice of powertrains and transmission will make it a joy to drive, while its luxurious and technology-rich cabin are sure to delight even the most discerning customers.

We’ll have more information on the all-new Infiniti Q30 in the coming months so don’t hesitate to contact us at 3Birds Template to learn more.
