INFINITI is always looking for ways to increase the thrill of driving, and INFINITI Middle East’s latest collaboration with Emotiv Inc. studied and measured the levels of human excitement drivers experience when behind the wheel of the new Q50 Red Sport 400.

For four weeks, drivers around the Middle East had the opportunity to drive the Q50 Red Sport 400 while wearing the Emotiv Insight headset, the most technically advanced EEG device on the market, that recorded brainwaves and measured mental performance indicators, then translated that data into easy-to-understand information.  

The study was conducted to show how brain activity changes when behind the wheel of a powerful sports sedan, showing increased enjoyment, engagement, and excitement, which further increases a driver’s focus and performance.
