The evolution of the Hyundai brand continues with the unveiling of the 2017 Genesis G90 at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. The G90 is the first vehicle from the new Genesis luxury brand, and will “compete at the top of the premium luxury car segment with world-class technological innovations and the highest levels of refinement, convenience, and dynamic performance.”

The 2017 Genesis G90 was created by the new Prestige Design Group. It serves as a pillar for the brand’s ‘Athletic Elegance’ design identity that will anchor all future Genesis products.

Powerful performance has always been a defining characteristic of premium luxury vehicles and the G90 seeks to exceed those requirements thanks to two fully capable powertrains.

The first powertrain is an all-new 3.3-liter direct-injected, twin-turbocharged V6. While buyers seeking even more power will want to consider the available and award-winning Tau 5.0-liter direct-injected V8. Both engines are paired to eight-speed automatic transmissions and can be paired with Hyundai’s H-TRAC all-wheel drive system.

Of course, the Genesis G90 will look to marry performance with refinement, which means you can expect to see a great deal of detail inside the cabin. For example, extensive consideration has been given to material selection.
