Every year J.D. Power conducts a VDS in order to determine owner-reported problems during the past 12 months by original owners of three-year old vehicles. This year, the study was based on the experiences and comments of over 33,560 owners of vehicles built in 2013. Only customers who had owned their vehicles for three years participated.

The highest ranking FCA model was the Fiat 500. It was ranked first in the City Cars category of this year’s VDS study. As Vice President of Quality, FCA North America Matt Liddane pointed out in a statement, “The 500 has always been known for its Italian styling, functionality, efficient design and innovative technology – we’re proud to have this dependability honor in the mix as well.”
