The new Chevrolet FNR-X concept vehicle picks up where the Chevrolet-FNR (Find New Roads) concept from 2015 left off. From the bold exterior lines to the creative interior lighting and intelligent adaptive control systems, this is a vehicle that promises to meet multipurpose mobility demands.
“The Chevrolet-FNR is one of Chevrolet’s most forward-thinking concept cars, truly exemplifying the brand’s passion for innovation and ingenuity,” said Alan Batey, GM executive vice president and president of GM North America and Global Chevrolet. “The FNR-X builds on the design and technology showcased on the original FNR concept and embodies the belief at Chevrolet’s core that anything is possible.”
Forward-thinking performance
A plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, the FNR-X can switch between its engine and electric motor. The driver can also switch driving modes from Versatile to Sport as conditions call for it. Even the suspension and handling profile can be modified with an adaptive suspension that adjusts ground clearance on demand.
Other technological performance highlights include wheel blades that adjust automatically to reduce wind drag at high speeds and front and rear spoilers and side skirts that move up and down according to the driving mode, contributing to the outstanding aerodynamics.
Innovative driver convenience and comfort
The FNR-X offers highly autonomous driver assistance through the all-terrain Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS). The vehicle can choose the best route based on complex road condition information. The panoramic intelligent augmented reality head-up display gives the driver a 270-degree posterior-lateral view.
Inside, intelligent ambient lighting changes color to match the driving mode. The cabin’s high-tech fabrics feature a hexagonal pattern inspired by graphene crystal structures, representing the era of new energy.
All this adds up to an exciting vehicle that illustrates what’s possible when it comes to the future of Chevrolet performance and practicality. Find new roads today with the latest Chevrolet models available at 3Birds Template.
