With so many new vehicles on the road, it can make you yearn for the days of tough hot rods and simple-yet-powerful designs. Chevrolet is bringing back those glory days with the turbocharged 1967 Nova 2.0. It’s engineered to showcase the “LTG” direct-injected 2.0L turbo crate engine and made for the driver who appreciates speed, muscle, and classic car style.
Power and speed with vintage individuality
With a timeless style and 272 horsepower (comparable to the original 275 hp of the ’67 Nova SS), the Nova 2.0 is sure to catch attention when it sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds. Chevy’s revamp of the 1967 Nova 2.0 replaced the all-iron V-8 with an all-aluminum turbo-four, providing a desirable 50/50 front-to-rear weight distribution for optimal performance and handling.
In addition to its high-speed performance, Chevy has combined modern touches such as four-wheel disc brakes and electronic latch releases with classic styling touches from the Chevy muscle car era including a billet aluminum grill and Z/28-style wheels that hot rodders know and love.
The overhauled Chevrolet Nova 2.0 debuted in early 2015 on the HOT ROD Power Tour and was shown at the November 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The classic Nova’s heritage lives on in the Chevrolet SS, a high-performance sports sedan for the modern era. The SS is available now at 3Birds Template. Contact us to schedule a test drive of this or one of our other modern-day Chevrolet classics.
