When the Lincoln debuted its Navigator concept last year, it was difficult to tell if the production version would maintain the elegance of this early design. But the 2018 Navigator is upon us—it's expected to hit showrooms in late 2017—and 3Birds Template is pleased to announce Lincoln has done the concept justice.

Drawing on luxury inspirations

Looking at the 2018 Navigator, it’s clear Lincoln drew inspiration from luxury sailboats and yachts. The influence can be seen in everything from the vehicle’s clean, modern lines to its teak finishes and exquisite detailing throughout. Here are five of our favorite features of the 2018 Navigator.

1) An incredible engine

The Navigator’s twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and it’s projected to deliver 450 horsepower. This powerful plant is sure to put you at ease and in command of this luxurious behemoth.

2) Uncompromising comfort

Available Perfect Position Seats are said to take their design inspiration from private jets and high-end office furniture. With 30 separate adjustments, including 12 back-support controls, four headrest-adjust modes, and two reclining options, you’ll experience uncompromising comfort. Add heating, cooling, and massaging features to the list, and these will officially be the most comfortable seats you've ever sat in.

3) The tech amenities you expect

The Navigator includes what you would expect from the biggest luxury brute in Lincoln’s lineup. SYNC® 3 is standard, and it includes Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Six USB ports are located throughout the three rows of seats, along with four 12-volt outlets and a 110-volt plug. A wireless charger is also located up front. The Navigator makes it easy to keep your devices charged up, ensuring you'll always stay connected.

4) A concert hall on wheels

An optional 20-speaker Revel II sound system fuses the art of luxury with the science of sound. To give you an idea of how good the system sounds, it’s said to mimic the experience of being in the audience at a concert hall. Need we say more?

5) Even more luxurious upgrades are available

For those looking for several more super-posh upgrades, Lincoln’s in-house Black Label department is sure to satisfy your longing for luxury. Lincoln’s Black Label comes to the Navigator as the top trim level and brings with it a collection of special interior-design themes—as well as various owner services. That means you’ll receive only the finest features, options, and service available anywhere.

As you can see, it’s as if Midas touched the new 2018 Navigator himself—it’s pure opulence. Standing on an imposing, stylish body, the 2018 Navigator is more reminiscent of the yachts that inspired it than the vehicle it is. For more information about the 2018 Navigator, or any of other vehicles in Lincoln's newest line of luxury vehicles, call, contact us online, or visit us in person at 505 W.
