The most popular car in the Cadillac lineup, the XTS sedan, is scheduled to receive a major refresh for the new model year.

Already a spacious and comfortable sedan, it will receive technical, chassis, and appearance upgrades, including a new grille, LED lighting and re-engineered front seats. The changes further signify the brand’s commitment to the XTS, which became Cadillac’s top-selling car last year.

Changes, both inside and out

The 2018 XTS, which will be 1.1 inches shorter than the current model, will also receive new headlights, taillights, fenders, and front and rear fascias. These exterior design changes help maintain continuity across the brand's lineup as they are aesthetically in line with Cadillac's prestige sedan, the CT6.

Inside, the XTS will boast Cadillac’s new user experience infotainment system, which debuted in the 2017 CTS. The system has a faster response time, features smartphone-like navigation, and includes personalized profiles for the utmost in customization. Cadillac has updated the design of the front seats for improved comfort, and the 2018 XTS will be a quieter ride, thanks to increased sound insulation from an updated chassis. Several new interior colors and trim options will also make their debut on the 2018 XTS.

Powertrain options remain unchanged, but the V-Sport edition will be carried over as well. The 2018 XTS is scheduled to go on sale this fall.
