Overview
The Jaguar XF returns for the 2018 model year, exhibiting the same exquisite design and fierce performance that have made it a top choice in the competitive midsize luxury sedan segment. The lightweight aluminum platform of the XF makes it one of the most responsive and satisfying vehicles to drive, while its available diesel four-cylinder engine complements its gas-powered options.
The 2018 Jaguar XF is a four-door, five-seat, mid-size luxury sedan. It's available in six trim levels, with prices starting at $47,775.*
Standard equipment for base models includes 18-inch alloy wheels, InControl® infotainment system with 8.0-inch touchscreen, 11-speaker Meridian® audio system, and rearview camera. Premium and Prestige models add additional standard features, and the R-Sport features an exclusive body kit in addition to other luxury features. The Portfolio model is the top-of-the-line luxury option while the S model is built with pure performance in mind.

Drive & Handling
The 2018 Jaguar XF can be had with one of four engines, each of which provides the requisite performance and character one expects from a Jaguar.
First up (available on all models except the S) is the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine. It produces 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The second option is the turbodiesel 2.0-liter four-cylinder (also available on all but the S), which is rated at 180 hp and 318 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard on both models, with your choice of either rear- or all-wheel drive.
The rear-wheel-drive four-cylinder gas version will get an EPA-rated 28 mpg combined (25 mpg city, 34 mpg highway).** The all-wheel-drive version returns 27 mpg combined (23 mpg city, 33 mpg highway).** The rear-wheel-drive diesel-powered XF reaches 60 mph in 8 seconds and gets a combined 35 mpg (31 mpg city, 40 mpg highway).**
Premium models and up are available with a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 which produces 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The rear-wheel-drive version is rated at 23 mpg combined (20 mpg city, 29 mpg highway).** The all-wheel-drive version also returns 23 mpg combined (20 mpg city, 28 mpg highway).**
The 2018 Jaguar XF S is also available with an exclusive higher-output V6 that produces 380 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque with an EPA-rated 20 city, 29 hwy, 23 combined.
Key Features
InControl® Touch™
Operate all of your in-vehicle infotainment features from the 8-inch touchscreen nestled neatly into the dash just to the right of the steering wheel. Touch and swipe controls provide easy access to audio, climate, available navigation, and more. The next-generation InControl® Touch Pro™ system is available as an upgrade, featuring a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen and the ability to pre-plan destinations and sync them to your vehicle from the Jaguar Route Planner App.
Head-Up Display With Laser Technology
This optional system projects key driving information directly onto the windshield so you can stay in the know while keeping your eyes on the road. The system can display navigation directions; vehicle speed; cruise control notifications; and Traffic Sign Recognition data, where available.
