In the automaker's own words, Subaru's mission with the BRZ is to offer enthusiasts "a pure sports car with an unmatched driving experience." Well, once the team at 3Birds Template got a good look at the 2017 Subaru BRZ, we have to say that it looks an awful lot like an incredibly fun sport coupe. Even better, the automaker has refreshed the BRZ for the 2017 model year, making it look and drive better than ever before. Specifically...
An Aggressive, Upgraded Look
On the outside, drivers will notice the 2017 BRZ features a wider-looking front bumper, one that's positioned lower to increase stability and control, not to mention making it look more aggressive. The new BRZ also features a full-LED headlight design, a first for the automaker, which adds to the look of the vehicle while boosting light output. Inside the vehicle, you'll find a bevy of upgrades for the Limited trim, including a 4.2-inch LCD multi-function display (perfect for all the readings you need at the track), as well as updated HVAC controls, and paddle shift control switches.
A Nimbler, More Powerful Drive
Thanks to a host of upgrades, including a redesigned exhaust manifold, engine updates that reduce friction, and a new aluminum intake manifold, the BRZ's 2.0-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine is now able to deliver 205 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, Incline Start Assist is now standard on all models, and the sport coupe's chassis and suspension upgrades have been dramatic enough to warrant the name of the "Sport" mode getting changed to "Track".
