For drivers looking for a capable but compact crossover SUV, the Land Rover Discovery Sport is an easy choice. The Discovery Sport also has the benefit of looking fantastic -- and for 2017, Land Rover is offering a new Dynamic Design Package that makes this stylish option an even smarter choice.
The Dynamic Design Pack will be available on 2017 Discovery Sport HSE and HSE LUX trim levels. The package includes:
- Unique front and rear bumpers with integrated rear tailpipes
- Black accented exterior detailing
- Gloss black 20-inch wheels
- Contrast-stitched leather seats and gearshift knob
- Unique carpet mats
and more. The Dynamic Design Pack isn't the only new aesthetic option for 2017, though. The Discovery Sport will also be available in four new exterior body colors, including Silicon Silver, Farallon Black, Carpathian Grey and Aruba metallic.
"Our customers want their vehicles to stand out and expect a wide range of personalization options," said Gerry McGovern, Chief Design Office. "The latest additions to the Discovery Sport deliver this in a premium way."
The new Land Rover Discovery Sport will also boast some impressive new tech options when it arrives at 3Birds Template in August 2016. Chief among these is the available InControl Touch Pro™ infotainment system, which features a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen and intuitive menus.
The elegantly designed system doesn't require any "hard" buttons. Instead, all navigation is done through the super-wide 21:9 high resolution screen. The touchscreen echoes the look and feel of your smartphone with intuitive functionality, allowing you to swipe and pinch your way through an array of convenient features and services.
Several new driver assistance features are also available to make your time behind the wheel even more safe and secure. The Driver Condition Monitor is designed to alert the driver when it detects signs of driver drowsiness, while the Intelligent Speed Limiter helps you temper any lead-foot tendencies by detecting changes in the speed limit and giving you the option to automatically slow. Finally, Lane Keep Assist detects lane markings and helps prevent you from leaving the lane unintentionally.
