The 2014 FIAT 500 retains all of the undeniable qualities that have made the 500 a hit since its recent return, plus a number of fresh new features. Available in hatchback and convertible models, the 2014 500 (or Cinquecento) is well worth a look for the adventurous but practical driver.

For 2014, the FIAT 500 and 500c are now available with Granito Lucente and Nero Puro paint choices, and all models feature a revised passenger seat offering increased headroom. The passenger seat also includes a new arm rest for added comfort, plus seat position memory settings.

With four varieties to choose from (Pop, Sport, Lounge, and Turbo) in two body styles, there are plenty of options for drivers to customize their own ride. One thing you won’t have to worry about, though, is fuel economy. The standard 1.4-liter naturally aspirated MultiAir engine is rated at up to 31 city/40 highway mpg.* That means less time at the gas station and more time enjoying the thrill of the five-speed manual transmission (an automatic option is also available).

For the thrill seekers, the 500 Turbo is the way to go. The 135-horsepower 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine offers 34 percent more power and 53 percent more torque than the standard engine, and is paired with a track-tested five speed manual transmission. The Turbo also includes such performance enhancements as sport-turned spring rates, steering calibration, and shock tuning. A lower-control arm for confident handling is also included.

FIAT 500 and 500c Pop models include stylish 15-inch wheels with chrome-accented wheel covers; a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls; BLUE&ME hands-free technology; power windows, locks, and heated mirrors; and an easy-to-use Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC). The 500c also gets the ParkSense rear-park assist feature, windshield-mounted antennae, and a dual-layer power cloth top.

Sport models add specially-tuned suspension and updated front and rear fascia, increasing the size of the “honeycomb” grilles and offering a more aerodynamic profile. Bodyside sill cladding, fog lamps, and a roof spoiler mounted on the liftgate contribute to the energetic look. The design touches extend to the interior, which includes sport seating and steering wheel and a premium six-speaker audio system.

The 500 and 500c Lounge models, designed to bring a touch of fashion consciousness to the driving experience, are flush with luxurious premium amenities. Highlights include front and rear fascia chrome accents, chrome mirror caps, premium cloth seating, and a fixed glass roof. The premium six-speaker audio system is also included, along with SiriusXM radio.

The Turbo model doesn’t just get a boost in performance—it also builds off of the looks of the 500 Sport for a complete package that’s powerful and strikingly attractive. The performance-focused front fascia boasts eye-catching “twin nostrils,” while a Gloss Black headlamp, tail lamp, and parking lamp bezels accent the look. The Turbo model also gets a two-piece rear fascia with diffuser and exclusive 16-inch wheels with painted Nero pockets. Inside, the leather-wrapped steering wheel is accented with Argento stitching, and Grigio/Nero seating ensures you ride in style and comfort.

The 2013 FIAT 500 was an IIHS Top Safety Pick, and the new model carries on that reputation. Despite the small size, you’ll be assured a big sense of security behind the wheel with the seven standard airbags, electronic stability control, and tire pressure monitoring display.

Best of all, the 2014 500 is big on value with a starting MSRP of $16,195.** Experience the iconic driving experience that FIAT has to offer—test drive the new 500 at our dealership today.
